Last Food Forest Festival 2022

Food/Plants/Ecosystems/Forests/Handcraft/Medicine

Interested in any of the above? We at Eikellegimaa, are very excited about Food Forests and Forest Gardening. Time to explore this topic further in the Estonian setting. Hence we are gathering experienced practitioners and professionals from Estonia and Latvia to help us run a relaxed, educational festival this year as the next chapter of the Fungi festival!

Join us to learn, do and celebrate a new take on an ancient way to garden. The Food forest approach to growing produces a wide array of resources for humans whilst actively addressing biodiversity and climate challenges. If done well we can create a largely self maintained system where harvest is the main chore!

We have been meeting many of these systems and the people who created them over their last 5-20 years. The Eikellegimaa family have been trying to apply some of their wisdom to our site.

Now its time to gather together so we all can birth a food forest and become some of these people whose actions we have been admiring!!
